Calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, makes Radiesse unique as an injectable aesthetic treatment vs. its popular counterparts. While most dermal filler products are composed of hyaluronic acid, Radiesse uses calcium-based microspheres to address moderate-to-severe loss in facial volume and is also a wonderful option for hand rejuvenation. Because of its composition, Radiesse not only produces immediate results by adding volume to the injected area, it also stimulates natural collagen production, giving you an extra boost in results!
RADIESSE VS. OTHER FILLERS
The calcium in Radiesse allows the injected area to build collagen, even after the product has been metabolized by the body. This makes Radiesse a revolutionary option for patients seeking instant; yet, long-lasting results. Additionally, Radiesse is a skin rejuvenator, aiding in the enhancement of skin firmness, texture and tone, as well as volume.
• Smoothing out smile lines, marionette lines & wrinkles around the corners of the mouth
• Restoring lost volume in hands, minimizing the appearance of tendons & veins
• Contouring of the jawline
• Contouring of the face & adding volume to cheeks
• Reducing the appearance of pre-jowl folds
Radiesse is one of the longest lasting dermal fillers on the market, with results lasting anywhere from 12-18 months for most patients, and sometimes even longer!
Prior to your treatment, you’ll meet with one of our Master Injectors to determine if Radiesse is the best option for you! We take pride in providing our patients with informed care in a safe, serene environment. We will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan tailored to your goals. Once we’ve numbed the area to be injected, we will administer a series of injections and will make sure you are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. After your treatment, you will receive instructions for post-procedure care.
One Week Prior to Treatment
Two Days Prior to Treatment
24 Hours Prior to Treatment
You may experience redness, swelling or bruising immediately after your treatment which can last a few days to a week. We encourage our patients to ice the injected area to reduce these side effects, as long as you do not apply pressure to the treated area with the cold pack, as this may impact the results.
Dermal filler treatments range in price, as it depends on the area being treated, amount of product required to attain optimal results, and whether you opt to receive multiple treatments during your appointment. Because of these variables, we offer complimentary consultations to all of our new patients! During the consultation, we will work with you to create a treatment plan for your specific goals and will review the cost of the treatment during that time.
