FILLERs

Dermal fillers have become one of the most popular and effective treatments for signs of aging in the face. Our Charlotte patients experience dramatic, instantaneous results from these non-invasive injections. Like Botox, these dermal fillers offer a safe, rapid solution designated toward combating the signs of facial aging.

While neurotoxin products like Botox and Dysport are designed to target wrinkles and fine lines through blocking the nerves that cause dynamic wrinkles, filler works by plumping the skin and adding volume to the injected area. The most popular dermal fillers are primarily comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in the body that gives the skin moisture, volume, and elasticity.

• Plump the lips
• Lift the cheeks
• Enhance the chin and jawline
• Restore volume to the temples

  and under eye area
• Reshape the nose
• Reverse the signs of aging hands

Juvederm

Owned by Allergan (the same parent company as Botox), Juvéderm is a collection of various filler products that are designed to restore facial volume, enhance the lips, smooth out lines and wrinkles and reverse the signs of facial aging. Juvéderm is composed of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance found in the body’s connective tissue. When injected by a Master Injection Specialist , Juvéderm promotes a supple, youthful appearance that looks natural. This procedure reverses the appearance of facial aging in a matter of minutes and lasts up to 18 months.

Restylane

Like Juvéderm, Restylane has a variety of different products for various aesthetic applications and is designed to restore the signs of facial aging. One of the biggest differences between these two brands is product consistency. Juvéderm tends to have a smoother texture, while Restylane is more granular and tends to stay exactly where the injections are administered. The difference in texture gives both products different strengths; the smoothness of Juvéderm is great for addressing finer lines and wrinkles in tight facial areas, and the cohesive nature of Restylane is ideal for adding volume in specific sunken facial areas. Satin Med Spa is well-versed in both products! During your free consultation, our expert team will easily determine which option is right for you.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a gel-based filler that contains tiny microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite, a form of calcium that is integral to strong teeth and bones. When injected beneath the skin, these microspheres act as a temporary scaffold, promoting volume and restoration of the injected area. As the particles gradually break down, new collagen is produced in the dermis, which often supports longer-lasting results. Radiesse is best used for areas where you want to create structure and global volumization, like the jawline, cheeks and hands.
