• Black cumin (nigella seed) oil is an ancient Middle Eastern / North African oil. One of the most appealing benefits of the black cumin seed oil is its antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, which work to reduce clogged pores and control oil, as well as tame redness and soothe irritation. • Mango butter loves your skin!  It has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and because of its fatty acid content, it moisturizes, repairs, and revitalizes skin. Mango is a dry-feeling butter, so it has a very light feel on the skin.

• Activated charcoal binds to dirt and helps pull it out of your pores, making them less visible (it’s the oil and dirt that make them appear bigger). This cleansing leaves your face feeling fresh. (Use it with Fresh Start Exfoliating Face Wash to get the dead skin off first and experience an even deeper clean.)

• Seaweed powder is a great cleansing and exfoliating agent. It is a powerful purifier that draws out impurities, it helps to remove dead skin cells which give the skin a fresh and healthy appearance. Seaweed is suitable for use on irritated skin as it will help retain skin’s moisture levels, and help chapping, cracking and roughness caused by dryness of the skin. It can also be used on oily and acne-prone skin.

• Buttermilk powder is included because it leaves your skin feeling like butter! (The lactic acid in buttermilk makes a great exfoliant. It also brightens skin, fades brown spots, evens out skin tone – and leaves your face incredibly soft.)

How to Use

• Start with a clean, dry face. Apply a smooth even layer over all, or part, of your face. Avoid immediate eye area. Leave on for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, but longer wear is OK, too (this mask takes a while to completely dry). Rinse off with lukewarm water, rubbing gently for additional exfoliation and to remove any residue. Your skin will feel moisturized, calm, and soft.

• Use 1-2 times per week or as needed. Enjoy!
