When you think of a detoxifying clay mask – this is it – but only BETTER. The French Green clay drinks the oil and debris from your skin and pores (which is normally a very drying process); however, the Abyssinian and Perilla oils in the formulation nourish and soothe your skin during this process. Witch Hazel, White Willow Bark, and Tea Tree are included to reduce the appearance of scars and to aid acne-prone skin.
French Green clay has enormous absorbency powers. It literally “drinks” oils, toxic substances, and impurities from your skin. Its toning action stimulates the skin, and it is great for helping to clear skin blemishes.
Kaolin clay gently absorbs oils, dirt, and impurities on your skin and in your pores. It is the mildest of all clays and is ideal for sensitive, easily irritated skin. We included it in this mask to temper the potential over-drying effects of the green clay.
Abyssinian oil is a very light oil and is easily absorbed by your skin – yet it feels quite rich. Abyssinian oil replaces skin oils helping to regulate oil over-production.
Perilla oil has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, making it an awesome oil for those with acne-prone skin or other difficult skin conditions. It is considered a drying oil because it is absorbed so quickly.
Raw Wildflower Honey is great for acne management because of its natural anti-bacterial properties; it slows down the appearance of aging skin, and it is moisturizing and soothing to the skin.
Witch Hazel, White Willow Bark, and Cajeput oil have powerful antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They are ideal for acne-prone skin and wound healing – and are considered go-to natural remedies for acne.
Start with a clean dry face. Apply a smooth even layer wherever your skin needs a little help. Avoid immediate eye area. Leave on until the mask completely dries. You can reactivate the clay by spraying lightly with water or toner to continue the detoxifying process. Once this mask dries, its work is done! Rinse off with lukewarm water, rubbing gently to exfoliate and remove any residue.
Your skin will feel soft and tight – and your pores will appear significantly minimized. Use it daily on troubled spots, or 1-2 times per week as part of a complete facial treatment.
