This Waterproof Organic Bamboo baby change mat is such an essential and popular item. The Nappy Off Mat is a unique handmade gift for baby showers as it’s what every parent needs. The sizing is 60cm x 45cm, and it folds up nicely and is small so it can go everywhere with you in your nappy bag. The top layer is super absorbent and luxuriously soft bamboo/organic cotton double terry toweling.
The bottom layer is completely waterproof PUL (polyurethane laminated) fabric, used in modern cloth nappies.
Bamboo is highly water absorbent, able to take up three times its weight in water, and around 60% more water-absorbent than cotton. It has an excellent wicking ability that will pull moisture away from the skin so that it can evaporate, this makes it breathable and cool to wear.
Bamboo fabric is exceptionally soft and light, almost silky in feel, naturally anti-bacterial, and very sustainable to grow. It is natural and soft on your baby’s skin. Perfect for all things babies.
