Description
Raw honey is a powerhouse of antioxidant and antibacterial compounds. It is great for acne management, slowing down skin aging, and moisturizing and soothing the skin. Topically applied honey has so much to offer, its benefits are hard to ignore.
Glycerin is a component of all living cells – both plant and animal. It acts as a humectant, which is a substance that allows the skin to retain moisture. It can increase skin hydration, relieve dryness, and refresh the skin’s surface. It’s also an emollient, which means it can soften skin.
Combining Honey and Glycerin reduces the stickiness of the honey noticeably and the two work together synergistically to form a self-preserving product.
Sweet Orange oil is shown to promote the production of collagen as well as increase the blood flow to the skin. It is helpful at soothing dry, irritated skin as well as acne-prone skin.
Seabuckthorn oil promotes skin hydration, elasticity, cell regeneration, and even helps calm acne-prone skin due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
How to use:
This is the second step in your cleansing routine. Use it after rinsing-off the Cleansing Nectar to remove any dirt or residue left behind. A nickel size amount should be fine.
It’s also great to use on its own. I prefer to start with DRY skin (again, it should glide on smoothly) then wet my hands to create a creamy lather. Starting with damp skin is OK, too – totally up to you.
Another option: Use the Cleansing Nectar, then apply the Honey Cleanser directly on top. Add water, massage, and rinse.
